Zoe Delain - Program Manager
This is Zoe’s second season managing the Bellevue Challenge Course for Northwest Teambuilding. She is originally from Wisconsin and has worked on a variety of different challenge courses since graduating from UW-Madison. When she’s not on the challenge course you can find her biking, kayaking, or leading trips for REI.
Kyle Miller - Zip Tour Manager
Kyle is Northwest Teambuilding's Zip Tour Manager. This will be his 4th season managing the zip tour and he’s excited to do more installing this year as well! A born Washingtonian, Kyle went to Central Washington University for college and has been living in the Seattle area since then. I his free time he can be found playing soccer on a multitude of leagues.
Paul Bland - NW Director of Trainings
For nearly 20 years, Paul Bland has been in the business of creating and facilitating teambuilding program experiences for groups throughout Washington State. He strives to assist people in identifying their gifts and talents, and appreciate the gifts and talents of the people around them. He uses his own talents to deliver programming to a variety of clients through both fixed element courses and portables.
The people he works with includes challenge course staff, church youth groups, public and private schools, before and after school programs, camps, retreats, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and individual families. Paul is passionate about people and helping them to relate with one another. He enjoys training others in group facilitation as much as he enjoys facilitating groups himself.
Mary Phillips - Inspector & Installer
Born in Seattle and raised in the Midwest, this Mary’s rural upbringing was complete with tree climbing, fort building, and long family road trips. This instilled in her a love for people, travel, and the great outdoors that set her up for an adventure in the challenge course industry.
It all started when Mary got snagged into working on the challenge course at YWAM Salem, OR in 2013. Since then she's travelled with the YWAM organization to Costa Rica and Swaziland to build courses. She also spent a year working at a zipline in Branson, MO.
Mary is Northwest Teambuilding’s primary Inspector and Installer.
Jilll Begin- Trainer & Lead Practitioner
This is Jill’s second year on the team! She is a part-time trainer and lead practitioner. When Jill is not on the challenge course you can find her in spending time with her chickens and 2 puppy dogs!
Billy DeMyer - Lead Practitioner
This is Billy’s second season on the Northwest team. He is currently getting his graduate degree in Student Development Administration at Seattle University. When he’s not on the Bellevue Challenge Course, you can find him hanging with his pups or working on the other challenge courses in the Seattle area.
Rachel McDonald - Lead Practitioner and Zip Guide
Rachel has been working at Northwest Teambuilding for 2 seasons. She primarily works on the challenge course but also does some zip guiding and building when she has time! Rachel got her start with Challenge Course facilitation in Madison, WI where she led programs for the school district. When she’s not on the course you will likely find her laying in a hammock or guiding trips for REI.
Sydney Iverson - Challenge Course Practitioner
This is Sydney’s first year on the Northwest Teambuilding staff! Previously she spent time working on the challenge course at OSU and we are delighted to have her skill and systems knowledge on our team! When she’s not working challenge course programs, you might find Sydney climbing, paddling, or mountain biking!
Kelly Oberbillig - Challenge Course & Zip Tour
This is Kelly’s second season working with NWTB. She is a Washingtonian and has returned to the Seattle area after graduating from Western Washington University. When she’s not on the challenge course or zip tour, you are likely to find her climbing some rad routes or biking on the Sammamish River Trail.
