Hello, My name is Scott Andrews and I own Northwest Teambuilding. I have been in the outdoor industry for over 30 years. After circling for a while I settled here in the Pacific Northwest. This is the community I serve. This company started in 2006 as a new adventure. That lead to out partnership with the Bellevue Challenge Course & Zip Tour and other projects.
I have a Masters in Experiential Education from Mankato State University. When I am not on a ropes course or a climbing wall I like to follow my passions for wooden boats, (you will see that level of care in the way we take care of your course) good food and time with family.
What do we consult about? Challenge courses and team building. It is really that simple. I have the best job in the world. I work with the best most dedicated facilitators in the Pacific Northwest. We run programs for great clients and have the privilege of watching people grown and learn. I have the opportunity to build beautiful things for people to play on. I get to meet people like you who are also passionate about your mission and vision. What more could I ask for?
Jarin Storrs - Jane of All Trades
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jarin has spent her adolescence exploring the Greater Puget Sound region. Her fascination of people-watching began at a young age, with curiosities of Seattleite wardrobes and peculiar conversations. She graduated with Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University, majoring in cultural anthropology with a focus in youth development. During her University years, she accidentally tumbled into the challenge course industry and was exposed to the field through Northwest Teambuilding during her very first training - she never left us since!
When she's not playing with chickens, escaping hot lava, rescuing radio active lime green monkeys or commandeering a pirate ship you can find her exploring the Cascades with her furry companion, Rayna, or scarfing down a Salmon fillet, also with Rayna. She enjoys riding her bike in circles, hiking, climbing, not trying new foods, pizza, laughter and learning new things, especially jokes.
Jarin is passionate about all things challenge course & zip line adventure-related, from staff development, experience delivery to inspections & builds. She is Northwest Teambuilding's Program Manager.
Paul Bland - Captain Tangent
For nearly 20 years, Paul Bland has been in the business of creating and facilitating teambuilding program experiences for groups throughout Washington State. He strives to assist people in identifying their gifts and talents, and appreciate the gifts and talents of the people around them. He uses his own talents to deliver programming to a variety of clients through both fixed element courses and portables.
The people he works with includes challenge course staff, church youth groups, public and private schools, before and after school programs, camps, retreats, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and individual families. Paul is passionate about people and helping them to relate with one another. He enjoys training others in group facilitation as much as he enjoys facilitating groups himself.
Paul facilitates and serves as a Course Manager on behalf of Northwest Teambuilding.
Isaac Herriges - Builder of Pretty Stuff
Isaac has been working at Northwest Teambuilding since 2011. As Lead Builder, he enjoys climbing trees and finding creative ways to solve problems. As a facilitator, he enjoys laughing and learning from groups. When he isn’t working, Isaac can be found climbing, laughing, and learning. He also really likes comic books.
Isaac is Northwest Teambuilding's Lead Builder.
Laura Sandberg - Semi-Pro Magician
Laura has more than five years experience in the recreation and adventure industry. She began working for Northwest Teambuilding in 2013 and, after graduating from the University of Washington, has now been with us for three strong years, even while travelling the globe!
When she is not sending off emails at lightning speed, stepping off perfectly good platforms, and swinging from ropes 30 feet above the ground, you can find Laura hiking her way around Washington state, or exploring the rest of this awesome world. She is passionate about the recreation experience, and aims to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone, be that through email, on-the-ground programs, or while 80 feet up in a tree.
Laura is our Office Administrator at Northwest Teambuilding, as well as a zip line guide and a challenge course facilitator.
Kyle Miller - Noodle Ninja
Kyle is Northwest Teambuilding's Zip Tour Coordinator.
Trent Tresch - Flying Monkey

Tanner Johnson - Doer of Things
Tanner first found his love for ropes courses, zip lines and facilitating in 2009 at Eastern Washington University where he received a Bachelor's in Recreation Management. Prior to completing college, her flew to Europe for an internship where he furthered his knowledge in several outdoor activities.
Tanner's passion for the outdoors and building relationships makes his relatively easy to find - More often than not you can find him with a chestier grin swinging from platform to platform or participating in a spontaneous act of zombie ball. When he's not easily found amongst the trees, he is likely eating ice cream or playing Mario Kart.
Tanner is a Lead Zip Guide at Northwest Teambuilding and readily raises his hand as a facilitator on the challenge course.
Mary Phillips - Enthusiasm Specialist
Born in Seattle and raised in the Midwest, this chick's rural upbringing was complete with tree climbing, fort building, and long family road trips. This instilled in her a love for people, travel, and the great outdoors that set her up for an adventure in the challenge course industry.
It all started when Mary got snagged into working on the challenge course at YWAM Salem, OR in 2013. Since then she's travelled with the YWAM organization to Costa Rica and Swaziland to build courses. She also spent a year working at a zipline in Branson, MO.
This year Mary was conscripted into the Northwest Teambuilding crew, eager to continue developing her skills, connect with the local community, and pursue her life long dream of being awesome.
Mary is a Lead Facilitator at Northwest Teambuilding, as well as zip tour guide, an Assistant Builder, and Assistant Inspector.

Dan Ashe - Experiential Engineer
As full-time Director of Training, Dan's focus is building better practitioners by implementing effective techniques that train people how to "facilitate with a purpose." He's been doing this experiential learning stuff for over 25 years and claims there's still plenty to learn about people, process and program.
In 2010, Dan received the Phil Costello Award for Entrepreneurship from the Mid-Atlantic AEE and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in 1991 while serving as an US Army officer during the First Gulf War. He holds a master’s degree in teaching from The Evergreen State College and bachelors of arts in psychology from Salisbury University.
Dan currently lives in Lacey, WA with his wife and son; in their spare time they may be spotted hiking the flanks of Mt. Rainier or trekking in the rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula.
Allison Radabaugh - Illusionist
Tucker enjoys herding the Northwest Teambuilding crew to ensure maximum work site efficiency. He can find lost toys, make tennis balls disappear, and loves to chime in with his distinct voice during meetings. Scott Andrews belongs to Tucker. :-)
