We currently offer two types of course manager training: in-person (3 day) and online.

This advanced level training requires practitioners to have sufficient training and experience on challenge courses, regardless of which type of course manager training they choose. Taking the certification exam will require a portfolio review to ensure compliance with the current ANSI/ACCT 03-2016 Standard.

Designed to get you up-to-speed as a program lead, or course manager, the curriculum covers the five main areas needed for you to lead at the next level.

TRAINING TOPICS

PHILOSOPHY: from our industry roots to the current standards roll out, we cover concepts that build your approach and calibrate your organizational compass.

PEOPLE: a survey of staffing, training, skill development and risk management tasks.

PROGRAM: here we delve into the services our clients want and how to best serve them; we also examine crucial protocols "before, during and after" a program to ensure quality outcomes consistently across all phases of course operations.

PLANS: an analysis of current practices and issues around, finance, marketing, legal, insurance and administrative operations that can help you be a better manager.

PROGRESS: everything changes! from systems to the people we need to make it all work, we address professional development, industry transition, personal skills survey, and next steps that set the path forward for the next 3-5 years.
